Chill martini glass in the freezer.
· 2 oz Gin (I like to use this absolutely fantastic local gin, Half Moon Orchard Gin from the Hudson Valley, but you can make this cocktail with any high quality gin of your choice.)
· A splash of Dolin dry Vermouth (less for a drier martini, and more for a sweeter martini!)
· 1-3 tsp of spicy brine (depending on how dirty and spicy you want your martini), I love Gordy’s pickles and used brine from their Thai basil Jalapeno pickle
· Jalapeno, olive or caper berry for garnish
Mix all the ingredients except the garnish in the shaker. Add a few cubes of ice.
Shake shake shake.
Pour into the frosted chilled glass, drop the garnish into the martini and enjoy!
